Mike Wilson

Mike started tuning cars in Dallas in '99, when it was all about just watching the Dyno and making adjustments until you got it right. One of the 1st technicians in the country trained for SCT and Diablosport tuners, he was one of the first to tune the Ford GT & the Saleen S7! Mike's owned 17 Mustangs and has custom tuned thousands of Mustangs, as well as GM, Dodge and Ford/GM Diesels.

Tuning a vehicle isn't just about HP & TQ. Many factors come into play - driveability, drive by wire calibration and transmission functions to name a few. We take all these things into consideration when it comes time to build a tune that's right for your car.

Doug Studdard

Doug's passion for tuning spans decades. In high school he won a scholarship to the Ford Asset program - a tech program that teaches technicians the ins and outs of the car. Brian Herron, a founder of SCT, contacted him and asked if he wanted to take over his business when SCT took off, and Bama Chips was born. Now Doug has joined forces with AmericanMuscle to take his love of tuning to the next step.

There aren't many secrets to tuning, there are just things every good tuner should do. For example, there are so many aspects of driveability to program that one of the biggest factors is testing & refining on the Dyno - we test our core value files on our in house fleet to ensure all aspects of the calibration are covered and build from there.

Dann Menna

Hailing from Coatesville, PA, Dann's been tuning for SCT systems for 2 years. Raised on car shows and modding from a young age through automotive tech school, he stays busy now turning his '03 White GT into a beast and making fast cars go faster.

When customers call to say, Oh my god, it's a completely different car - I know exactly how that adrenaline rush feels & I like figuring out how to get you there.

Ryan McDonald

Born in Hackettstown, NJ, Ryan grew up just around the corner from AmericanMuscle HQ and has been a trained SCT tune tech for 2 years. Raised modding 'stangs with friends, he got his first at 17 and it's been a race to see who can go faster ever since.
